Welcome to CircumSpace! This space travel simulator from the author of
SkyGlobe is fast, fun, and easy to use. The only file necessary to run the
program is CIRCUM.EXE, so installation is simple. Just create or choose a
directory and copy all the files there, then type CIRCUM and sit back and
watch the opening introduction.
Here is a sample procedure that will work for many systems:
C:
CD\
MD CIRCUM
CD CIRCUM
COPY A:CIRCUM10.ZIP
PKUNZIP CIRCUM10
CIRCUM
The archive may be named either CIRCUM10.ZIP or CIRCUM.ZIP, depending on
from where it was obtained.
If you are a Windows user, you can use the File Manager or the Run command
to start the program after you have placed the files where you want them.
The program should detect it if you have only an EGA adapter, but you can
start with CIRCUM E if you wish to force EGA mode. CIRCUM 8 is a reduced-
color VGA mode that is slightly faster than the default.
Once past the introduction screen, CircumSpace is ready to respond to
mouse movement or the easy to use single-key commands.
Here are the files that make up the CircumSpace archive package:
CIRCUM.EXE The only necessary executable file.
CIRCUM.DOC The main documentation file.
README This file.
FILE_ID.DIZ The standard description file for BBSes.
VENDOR.DOC An information file for vendors.
ORDER.DOC A standalone copy of the registration form.
BENEFITS.DOC A file detailing the benefits of registration.
Thank you for evaluating CircumSpace, and have fun!
